Come work in a natural history collection for a day

You are all invited to join us for a fun day of being a natural history collection curator. Worldwide Engagement for Digitizing Biocollections, or WeDigBio, is a 4-day event that engages participants online and onsite in digitizing natural history collections. Onsite events are hosted by museums, herbaria, universities, and other institutions and enable face to face meetups where participants engage with local collections. This will be a collaborated event with the Cheadle Center for Biological and Ecological Restoration (CCBER) along with Data Science at UCSB, Museum Studies, UCSB Natural History Collections Club, and UCSB Geography Club. No prior experience is necessary (and you don't have to stay the whole day). This is an opportunity for all members to explore our vast specimen collection as well as gain some technical experience in digitizing and databasing online.
